DAVID A KASEN has been a practicing attorney since 1970. He is one of only two New Jersey Attorneys who is a CERTIFIED SPECIALIST by the American Board of Certification* in BOTH Business and Consumer Bankruptcy. There are only 101 such attorneys in the United States.

Mr. Kasen has been named by the “Corporate Counsel Edition of Super Lawyers (2009)” as one of the country’s top Bankruptcy & Credit/Debtor Rights Attorneys; an honor based on peer recognition and professional achievement.

He is a former Chapter 13 Trustee for the Camden vicinage (1974-1981). Mr. Kasen is the founding partner of Kasen & Kasen. He has represented thousands of consumer debtors and has successfully restructured and reorganized a vast array of businesses. He has lectured on Bankruptcy law topics for New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the National Business Institute.

David Kasen is admitted to practice in the Courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a graduate of Rutgers University Law School 1970, and a member of the Camden County and New Jersey State Bar Association.

Mr. Kasen was a member of the Rutgers University Economics Honor Society and a member of Law Review at Rutgers Law School.

FRANCINE STEIN KASEN has been a practicing attorney since 1980. She is admitted to the practice in the Courts of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Francine has been a partner with her husband David, at Kasen & Kasen since graduating from Rutgers Law School in 1980.
